摘要：Inthis talk, I shall recall the classical and noncommutative background on the ergodic theorems along arithmetic sets, and then present a complete resolution of the open problem around Bourgain’s famous results on ergodic theorems along arithmetic sets. This is based on a series of works joint with C. Chen, W. Li, E. Ricard, and L. Wang.
